About The Position

Great Clips Heath is hiring a working Salon Manager to lead the salon team, manage salon operations and results, build a regular customer base, and provide haircuts. The manager splits time between leadership and customer services according to the salon’s needs. The position includes coaching, developing, and motivating stylists; overseeing day-to-day operations; and supporting a strong team culture and customer experience. Leadership and technical training, operational support, and salon technology are provided. The role offers a stated total pay range of $25–$40 per hour, including base pay, tips, and commission, based on performance, plus a monthly manager bonus.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
Strong technical haircutting skills and ability to help others develop their skills and confidence.
Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to motivate, develop, and support a team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage day-to-day salon operations.
Comfort with technology and salon tools, including scheduling systems, metrics, and reports.
Goal-oriented mindset focused on team performance and customer experience.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous leadership experience is helpful but not always required.
Experience as an Assistant Manager or an experienced stylist ready for full leadership responsibility.
