Habilitative Coordinator
About The Position
We are looking for a Hab Coordinator to join our team! As a Habilitative Coordinator, you’ll coordinate services to help the people we serve keep, learn, or improve important daily living skills. Your responsibilities will include training staff in behavior modification techniques and to assist with developing new programs. This role is ideal for a solutions-oriented problem solver who brings a thorough and conscientious approach, always considering the overall impact before making decisions. An efficient helper who is engaging and can easily smooth bumpy situations. A teacher who not only loves providing tangible solutions to others but naturally brings the tools and perspective that help others “connect the dots”.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
- Experience may be substituted for educational requirements unless required by the state.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate development of individual-centered programs
- Monitor the quality of services and development of individual-centered programs.
- Train staff in behavior modification and/or intervention techniques
- Develop new policies, procedures and methodologies for delivering habilitative services
