About The Position

Foundation Communities’ Health Coverage Program is hiring a team of HAAM Eligibility Specialists to work with local musicians who are members of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for Central Austin musicians, and this seasonal position offers a wonderful opportunity to help musicians access healthcare. HAAM Eligibility Specialists will be expected to work remotely and will be provided with the necessary equipment to complete job functions (laptop, headset, extra monitor). Full-time and part-time hours are available, with options for weekday and Saturday hours (no evening hours). The position pays $19/hour. Some in-person training is required. The timeline for this position is October to mid-December 2026. There is also a potential opportunity to transition to a part-time or full-time seasonal position on our tax team from January to April 2026 for those who are interested. Nice To Haves

Familiarity with tax return preparation, health insurance, or public assistance programs
Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

Provide efficient and accurate intake and enrollment assistance to HAAM members by phone
Convey accurate knowledge about Marketplace health insurance and HAAM services (training provided)
Complete and accurate data entry
Protect confidential consumer information
Other duties as assigned
