About The Position

The H+G Associate will be responsible for maintaining the Home and Gift Department, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked. This role involves assisting with unloading trucks, managing merchandise displays, handling special orders, and providing excellent customer service. The associate will also be expected to monitor for shoplifters and respond to radio requests, while always striving to meet operational goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise.
• Maintain Home and Gift Department cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays and monitor end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
• Assist customers and never refuse a request without checking with a manager.
• Monitor for shoplifters and act in accordance with company policy.
• Respond to radio requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
