Full-Time Gyn Nurse Practitioner - Pasadena

TiaPasadena, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Tia is a full-stack women's healthcare business that builds products, tools and clinical services virtually and in person to help every woman be her own patient advocate and get meaningfully better healthcare. We’re putting the soul back in medicine, one patient and one provider at a time through a care philosophy that is reimagined to listen to and empower women to actively take control of their healthcare. The care philosophy that supports our patients is also built to support clinicians who are the heart and soul of the care Tia is able to provide. In order to do that - we need YOU! We’re looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pasadena clinic — a clinician who can step in and deliver high-quality, whole-person care across a broad scope from day one. This role sits at the center of Tia’s care model, blending primary care, gynecology, and behavioral health into a single, integrated experience. You’ll move fluidly between preventive care, urgent visits, procedures, and longitudinal care — without the luxury of a narrow scope. You’ll also contribute to how we evolve care at Tia — partnering across disciplines, shaping clinical workflows, and helping us continuously raise the bar on quality and experience. This is a role for someone who is confident in their clinical range, moves quickly without sacrificing rigor, and can be a steady, trusted presence for patients and the care team alike.

Requirements

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active, unrestricted California license (103 preferred).
  • Strong experience across both primary care and gynecologic care.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced clinic with sound clinical judgment and efficient decision-making.
  • Experience with IUD insertions strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic dermatologic procedures.
  • Interest in expanding procedural scope (e.g., Nexplanon, colposcopy).

Nice To Haves

  • Menopause & perimenopause care (assessment and follow-up).
  • Sexual wellness.
  • Weight management care.
  • Dermatologic concerns (acne, rashes, skin changes).
  • Ear, eye, and headache-related visits.
  • Routine blood pressure follow-ups and other lower-acuity care.
  • Experience in trauma-informed care or LGBTQ+ care (including gender-affirming hormone management).
  • Background in interdisciplinary or non-traditional care models.
  • Exposure to integrative or holistic care approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage new patient visits and annual preventive exams.
  • Provide contraception and all-options pregnancy consults.
  • Address vaginal, vulvar, urinary, and pelvic concerns (including cramps/pelvic pain).
  • Perform STI evaluation and treatment, including genital sores.
  • Manage cough, cold, flu, and other urgent care presentations.
  • Handle abdominal and digestive concerns.
  • Conduct mental health assessments (anxiety, depression, mood, stress) and follow-ups.
  • Address sleep concerns.
  • Perform lab review and care plan development.
  • Manage cervical cancer screening follow-up.
  • Administer vaccines and injections.
  • Practice shared decision-making and treat patients as partners.
  • Lead with curiosity, warmth, and clinical rigor.
  • Be inclusive, sex-positive, and committed to affirming care for all patients.
  • Be tech-forward and comfortable navigating EMRs and virtual care.
  • Be a team player who contributes beyond their own visits — improving workflows, supporting peers, and raising the bar.
  • Complete credentialing with specified payors and authorize Tia to complete this credentialing through their preferred vendors.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary plus quarterly bonus program in place for clinicians.
  • Paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid learning time off.
  • Comprehensive benefits package effective day one, including medical, dental & vision.
  • Medical malpractice coverage.
  • Reimbursed for state licenses, board certification, and BLS certification.
  • DEA will be reimbursed where it is required for practice.
  • Complimentary subscriptions to educational tools such as UptoDate along with extensive internal educational resources and monthly clinical training opportunities.
  • Access to AI documentation software drastically reducing administrative burden of clinical documentation.
