About The Position

Responsible for providing direct patient care within the practice and directive of collaborating physician; assessment and management of patients; day to day implementation and evaluation of the appropriate plan of care; serving as a consultant, researcher, and educator. Works in collaboration with the Physician as well as nursing and support services to provide patient-focused care.

Requirements

Must have a current RN license and NP license in the state of practice.
Must have a current DEA license.
Must have a Master's Degree in Nursing.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Must have experience in OB/GYN.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Performs history & physicals, documentation of findings; communication with collaborating Provider.
Orders appropriate diagnostic testing; reviews results/ informs patients & Providers of findings and required follow up.
Patient education and support.
Ensures continuity of care for follow-up treatments.
Other duties as necessary under direction of Provider/s and Administration.
