About The Position

The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a qualified candidate with a great attitude to join their staff as a Gym Supervisor. The Gym Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the finest level of service and highest quality product for members and guests. This is a self-motivated, energetic position requiring flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include handling customer service issues, daily shift work, cleaning schedules, and the overall function of the facility.

Requirements

College degree preferred or at least 3 years of hospitality/fitness related experience
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, co-workers
Experience working within a luxury Club/Resort environment
Valid state driver’s license
Operating front desk
Strong customer background
Supervisory experience
Must be CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certified
Working knowledge of fitness equipment and safety procedures
Working knowledge of member, guest and employee relations
Microsoft Office computer skills
Scheduling skills
Inventory skills
Communication skills
Customer service skills
Problem-resolution experience
Able to work on feet for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Able to move about at a quick pace
