About The Position
The Northside Family YMCA is currently seeking part time responsible individuals to oversee gymnasium services and activities. We are looking for an individual to work week nights and weekends. This part time position starts at $14.00 per hour and must be 21 or over.
Requirements
- Service-oriented, role model with a member-first attitude.
- Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe situations.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, and related business equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be 21 or over.
Responsibilities
- Oversee gymnasium services and activities.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Maintain gymnasium equipment and inventory.
- Set-up and breakdown of events.
- Maintain surveillance during games, activities, and member participation.
- Facilitate seating and set up for gym rental, as necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
