About The Position

The Northside Family YMCA is currently seeking part time responsible individuals to oversee gymnasium services and activities. We are looking for an individual with weeknight and weekend availability. The pay range for this part time position is $13-$15 per hour and must be 21 or over.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or over.
• Service oriented.
• Role model with a member first attitude.
• Able to recognize and respond to unsafe situations.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a computer, telephone and related business equipment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gymnasium services and activities.
• Perform gymnasium maintenance.
• Inventory equipment.
• Set-up and breakdown of events.
• Maintain surveillance during games, activities, and member participation.
• Facilitate seating and set up for gym rental, as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members and staff.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
