About The Position

Rimini Street, Inc. is seeking a GVP, Global Partners, Alliances and Channels to build a partner alliance program across each of Rimini Street’s Global Theaters. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be responsible for developing, driving, and building an ecosystem of partners that deliver value to customers. The company is a trusted global provider of mission-critical enterprise software support, managed services, and innovative Agentic AI ERP solutions, and is the leading third-party support provider for Oracle, SAP, and VMware software. Their solutions help clients run, manage, support, customize, configure, connect, protect, monitor, and optimize enterprise application, database, and technology software, enabling them to achieve better business outcomes, reduce costs, and fund innovation.

Requirements

20+ years of progressive global sales management and global partner management experience.
10+ years of demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience hiring and developing direct and indirect reports.
Experience building and managing partners, alliances and channels programs.
Strong ability to interact with and influence C-level executives and team members.
Demonstrable track record of success in strategic planning, owning sales targets and managing sales forecast.
Prior success selling into and building relationships with IT Services, Managed Services, Consulting, Systems Integrators or software firms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Professional and compelling presence.
Ability to successfully navigate and influence strong personalities within a complex business landscape.
Ability to create and execute successful channel strategies that will support revenue growth.
Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, legal, service delivery and finance organizations.
Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
Strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute global partner strategy to build and grow Rimini Street’s presence across all key market segments and regions to achieve business targets.
Identify, recruit, onboard and develop committed, loyal partners.
Manage the Global Partner, Alliance and Channels sales strategy.
Continually assess, clarify, and validate partner needs.
Track, measure and report partner effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as needed.
Understand our partners' businesses and develop strategies and incentives to enable them to provide more value to their end customers.
Work cross-functionally internally to provide input on messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner strategy.
Partner with marketing to provide input on the execution of programs and events to drive partner leads, pipeline and deal progression.
Develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationship and value to end customers, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits.
Build partner pipeline and manage partners to that pipeline.
Develop the Global Partners, Alliances and Channels team (recruit, hire and develop).
