About The Position

Guardian is hiring an experienced Gutter Technician to support daily operations in its Gutter department. The position is based at the Wilsonville, Oregon branch and involves commuting to job sites throughout the Portland-area service region. The technician works in a two-person crew, collaborating with the Technician Lead and Production Manager to support efficient production operations. The role focuses on repair and replacement work rather than new construction and calls for dependable attendance, attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and excellent customer service. The schedule is Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until work is finished; weekend availability as needed is highly preferred.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in construction trades such as roofing, siding, home renovation, or a relevant field.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working on roofs and handling power tools.
Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 pounds, and drive for up to two-hour increments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a drug test, physical, and criminal background check; employment is contingent on passing these checks.

Nice To Haves

One year of gutter installation experience is preferred.
Weekend availability as needed is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Install gutters and gutter covers as part of a two-person crew and meet Guardian's quality standards.
Complete installations correctly the first time to assure customer satisfaction; work is retrofit, not new construction.
Improve knowledge and craftsmanship through ongoing training.
Arrive at work on time and be a dependable employee.
As a Lead only, make recommendations and upsell services while working at customers' homes.
