About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to perform all functions associated with the supply department, including but not limited to: Run gum recovery department, operate a stand-up forklift, material accountability, and support the Area Lead with all activities associated with the supply department.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience
Ability to lift 60 pounds
Ability to quickly respond
Troubleshooting ability
Computer literate with an ability to enter, record, maintain and retrieve information in a computer-based data collection system (weever)

Nice To Haves

Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
Forklift certified
The ability to lift 60 pounds

Responsibilities

Run gum recovery department
Operate a stand-up forklift
Material accountability
Support Area Lead with all activities associated with supply department
Communicate with line and Production Leads/Production coordinators to ensure materials are replenished in a timely manner
Cross training will be required with other Material Handler positions
This position and all site associates are responsible for quality and food safety.
