About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to perform all functions associated with the supply department, including but not limited to: Loading trucks and staged loads in area, ability to operate a stand-up forklift, material accountability, and supporting the Area Lead with all activities associated with the supply department. This role requires cross-training with other Material Handler positions. This position and all site associates are responsible for quality and food safety.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience.
Ability to lift 60 pounds.
Ability to quickly respond.
Troubleshooting ability
Computer literate with an ability to enter, record, maintain and retrieve information in a computer-based data collection system (weever)
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have the ability to prioritize workload
Must have excellent organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Forklift certified.
The ability to lift 60 pounds
