About The Position
The Niles Park District is seeking a passionate and skilled part-time guitar instructor to join our team and inspire the next generation of musicians! Plan and deliver engaging guitar lessons for children and teenagers. Teach fundamental guitar techniques, music theory, and basic music notation. Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Promote a love of music and inspire a lifelong appreciation for the guitar.
Requirements
- Proficiency in playing the guitar.
- Prior teaching experience, especially with children and teenagers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
- Reliability and strong commitment to the role.
