About The Position

The Developer, Guidewire Jutro supports the design and development of digital front-end solutions using Guidewire Jutro within Guidewire Cloud implementations. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to build, configure, and enhance responsive user interfaces that integrate with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter. The developer contributes to implementation and enhancement initiatives by applying modern front-end development practices, Guidewire standards, and cloud deployment processes to deliver high-quality digital experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in front-end or full-stack development, including experience supporting Guidewire implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Jutro and Guidewire Cloud environments.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience participating in Agile development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure user interfaces using Guidewire Jutro and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Collaborate with functional and backend teams to integrate Jutro applications with Guidewire core systems via APIs and messaging services.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components aligned with Guidewire design standards.
  • Support enhancements, defect resolution, and ongoing improvements within Guidewire Cloud environments.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and post-release support activities.
  • Ensure code adheres to established development standards, version control practices, and release processes.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and solution discussions.
