Requirements

  • Guidewire InsuranceSuite integration experience
  • Experience with third-party systems such as payment platforms, data warehouses, and document management systems
  • Proficiency in Guidewire Cloud APIs, REST APIs, Integration Gateway (IG) Apps, and App Events
  • Experience configuring messaging patterns (point-to-point, publish/subscribe, event-driven)
  • Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar technologies
  • Experience designing reusable and scalable integration templates
  • Experience optimizing integration pipelines for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
  • Ability to translate integration requirements into technical designs
  • Experience collaborating with development and QA teams
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Experience defining and implementing data mapping and transformation rules
  • Experience managing data enrichment, validation, and consistency
  • Experience monitoring integration performance and identifying bottlenecks
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration failures
  • Experience implementing logging, error handling, and notification mechanisms
  • Experience maintaining integration documentation
  • Adherence to coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices
  • Experience supporting upgrades of Guidewire modules
  • Experience implementing enhancements to improve performance

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between Guidewire InsuranceSuite and third-party systems such as payment platforms, data warehouses, and document management systems
  • Develop custom integration components using Guidewire Cloud APIs, REST APIs, Integration Gateway (IG) Apps, and App Events
  • Configure messaging patterns, including point-to-point, publish/subscribe, and event-driven architectures
  • Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar technologies for data exchange
  • Design reusable and scalable integration templates aligned with enterprise architecture
  • Optimize integration pipelines for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
  • Partner with business analysts and architects to translate integration requirements into technical designs
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems
  • Support stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by troubleshooting and refining integrations
  • Define and implement data mapping and transformation rules for interoperability between systems
  • Manage data enrichment, validation, and consistency within integration workflows
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively identify bottlenecks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures in production environments
  • Implement robust logging, error handling, and notification mechanisms
  • Maintain comprehensive integration documentation, including technical designs, APIs, and data flow diagrams
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior developers
  • Support upgrades of Guidewire modules and ensure compatibility with existing integrations
  • Implement enhancements to improve performance and meet evolving business needs
