Guides also support outreach programming in schools, public libraries, community organizations, and at local fairs and events, extending the museum’s reach and fostering connections. They enrich the visitor experience, foster a deeper understanding of Canadian history and innovation, and support the museum's operational needs, including assisting with the care and monitoring of museum spaces, services, and collections, as well as visitor health and safety. Guides play a vital role in upholding the museum's educational mission, enhancing visitor engagement, and contributing to membership and revenue objectives.
