About The Position
The Guestroom Attendant is an essential member of the Rooms Division and is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This is a union non-management position.
Requirements
- Reading, written and oral proficiency in the English language is required
- Viable candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience, luxury hotel preferred
- Must be able to cope with stress and work in a high volume operation
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- High school educations or equivalent experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Removes dirty towels and sheets and replaces them with clean linen
- Cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the Guest Room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom)
- Vacuums carpet and cleans marble and tile areas
- Removes Rooms service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
- Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pen
