About The Position

Westgate Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is hiring a part-time Guest Services team member for an every-other-weekend opening in Havertown, Pennsylvania. Guest Services team members provide a welcoming experience for patients, residents, families, and staff from admission through discharge, helping ease the transition into the facility. The role includes leading the Ambassador Rounds program, ensuring rooms are ready for admission, explaining services and departments, and serving as a primary contact and liaison for patients and families. The position also supports admissions, engages with new admissions and families, and encourages positive reviews and the sharing of success stories. The successful candidate is professional, personable, friendly, and able to handle varied communication situations, administrative tasks, and multitasking. A uniform is provided.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily Ambassador Rounds to ensure rooms are ready for admission.
Meet with patients and families upon admission to assist with their transition.
Understand staff members’ roles and functions to address needs appropriately.
Complete administrative projects as directed by the supervisor.
Use appropriate computer skills to accomplish required tasks.
Support the admissions and activities departments with tours, paperwork, and engagement.
Help educate patients and families about facility services and departments.
Serve as a liaison between departments and patients and families.
Engage with patients and families to encourage positive reviews and share success stories.
