About The Position

The Guest Services Representative provides directions to guests and team members within the hospital system and the Orlando area. The role helps guests reach in-hospital destinations, responds to questions and needs in person or by phone, and supports patients and families with information and arrangements. The representative is expected to maintain a caring, professional manner and work effectively with hospital staff and departments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of experience in a customer service setting.

Responsibilities

Escort guests to their in-hospital destinations as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of hospital personnel, departments, and their locations to refer guests to the appropriate department or person.
Provide information to hospital team members.
Respond to the needs of guests and team members by phone or in person.
Make regular rounds in patient areas to identify and meet patient and visitor needs.
Maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff, management, and departments such as Volunteers, Social Work, and Home Health.
Assist Social Service with transportation, hotel, or flight arrangements for patients and their families.
Display a caring attitude and sensitivity to customers’ needs and concerns.
Present a professional image through dress, hygiene, and communication skills.
Maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies and applicable standards.
Comply with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Attend in-services and meetings as required.
Complete all mandatory education.
Take responsibility for professional growth and development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
