About The Position

The Guest Services Representative provides directions and information to guests and team members within the hospital system and the Orlando area. The role supports hospital visitors and patients by responding to inquiries, escorting guests, making rounds in patient areas, and coordinating with hospital departments and staff. The position requires availability for either of two shifts: 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The role includes some weekend and holiday work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of experience in a customer service setting.
Availability to work either shift: 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ability to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Escort guests to in-hospital destinations as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of hospital personnel, departments, and their locations to direct guests to the appropriate department or person.
Provide information to hospital team members.
Respond to the needs of guests and team members by phone or in person.
Make regular rounds in patient areas to identify and meet patient and visitor needs.
Maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff, management, Volunteers, Social Work, and Home Health.
Assist Social Service with transportation and hotel or flight arrangements for patients and their families.
Display a caring attitude and sensitivity to customers’ needs and concerns.
Present a professional image through dress, hygiene, and communication skills.
Maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance in accordance with applicable policies and standards.
Comply with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Attend required in-services and meetings and complete mandatory education.
Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
