Guest Services Lead
About The Position
The Guest Services Lead provides leadership and customer service at Brookview during facility operations. The position manages guest-services and lobby-area reservations, registration, inventory, fees, and reporting; supports events and community programs; and helps coordinate safe, high-quality facility operations. The role supervises participants to help ensure their safety and compliance with rules and regulations, and supervises part-time employees when the Recreation Supervisor is absent. Facility operating hours are Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Work hours are flexible depending on shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working with computers.
Nice To Haves
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
- Previous cash-handling experience.
- Previous community center or event center experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage reservations, registration, and inventory for guest services and lobby areas.
- Collect user fees and provide daily financial and attendance reporting.
- Assist with the implementation and promotion of special events and community programs.
- Answer and direct phone calls and manage the guest-services area.
- Coordinate facility operations and ensure the quality and safety of events and services.
- Supervise participants to ensure safety and enforcement of rules and regulations.
- Supervise part-time employees in the absence of the Recreation Supervisor.
