About The Position

The Guest Services/Host role at BIG ROCK ITALIAN CHOPHOUSE, part of CAMERON MITCHELL RESTAURANTS, is responsible for creating a positive first impression and making guests feel welcome, both on the phone and in person. This role is crucial in controlling the seating of guests to ensure quality of service, guest satisfaction, and to maximize sales opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Make "Raving Fans" of associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and the communities.

  • Control the seating of guests in the dining room to assure quality of service, guest satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
  • Ensure uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned.
  • Practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
  • Exemplify hospitality standards.
  • Answer guests' questions about the restaurant.
