About The Position

Oak View Group is hiring a Guest Services Event Staff Supervisor at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena (UMBC). Responsibilities

Ensure Guest Services Staff prepares assigned sections for guests, including wiping down seats, identifying potential hazards, and reporting issues to a manager.
Ensure staff welcome guests with a friendly, helpful attitude when gates open.
Ensure ticket scanners can scan event tickets and verify that the correct ticket is being used for entry.
Ensure staff help guests locate their ticketed seats.
Remain alert to potential hazards, report incidents, and ensure staff understand their responsibility to do the same.
Monitor the arena for issues and opportunities to create memorable guest experiences.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and complaints.
Ensure staff assist guests in ADA-accessible seating sections.
Enforce building policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Guide foot traffic through large crowds.
Know the arena emergency evacuation plan and help guests evacuate safely in an emergency.
