About The Position

At Messiah Lifeways, our Guest Services Concierge is often the very first person visitors, residents, family members, and team members encounter. In this role, you'll be the welcoming face of our community—offering a warm greeting, answering questions, providing directions, and helping everyone feel at home from the moment they walk through our doors.
Requirements
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, personal integrity and the ability to present Messiah Lifeways in a positive, professional, and engaging manner
- Must possess the ability to work under pressure and with interruptions
- Must possess a pleasant telephone etiquette and the ability to accommodate guests in a pleasant manner
- Demonstrates computer proficiency and the ability to complete administrative tasks
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Computer proficiency is required
Nice To Haves
- Previous receptionist training or similar experience (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, residents, family members, vendors, and team members with exceptional hospitality
- Manage the telephone system and direct calls with professionalism and care
- Monitor building access, assist with visitor sign-in procedures, and help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource about Messiah Lifeways' services and programs
- Connect guests with the right departments and team members to meet their needs
- Receive and manage package deliveries, distribute keys and fobs, and assist with mailroom operations
- Support various administrative tasks including updating directories, preparing documents, mailings, spreadsheets, and internal communications
- Respond appropriately to alarms and emergency situations while following established safety procedures
- Communicate important information between shifts and collaborate closely with fellow Concierge team members
- Help create a positive experience for everyone who visits or calls Messiah Lifeways
