Guest Services Associate - Mid / PM Shifts
About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a Guest Services Associate at Club Wyndham Governor's Green Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. The role works primarily mid shifts (11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) and PM shifts (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), including weekends and holidays. The associate helps make guests’ vacations memorable by welcoming them, guiding them through registration and checkout, sharing resort and local information, providing room-rate quotes, and reserving and confirming accommodations. The role also involves processing and balancing payments and responding promptly and thoroughly to guest inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and office skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly service.
- Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and local attractions.
- Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
- Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and complete other cashiering and money-handling duties.
- Complete check-out procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
- Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and groups.
- Provide room-rate quotes.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
