About The Position

Mighty Pilates Studio Seeks Enthusiastic Guest Services Associate at our Westwood Village. Our studio is home to a refreshing and inviting environment located in in the beautiful neighborhood in Westwood Village. We have built an amazing and strong community and want someone to support the continued growth. The studio has a warm, casual feel but our classes are high-energy. We are proud of the our 5 stars on Yelp! We offer the Guest Services Associates hourly rate of $18 and we offer all employees 4 free staff classes monthly + $5 drop-ins, sick-time accrual, and reasonably flexible scheduling requests and make-up hours (usually in the form of shift swaps or coverage for another front desk employee). We are looking for someone who can ideally work a couple shifts a week with weekend availability. The position is ideal for someone who is passionate about fitness, health, and wellness, and is excited to spend a couple of days a week in the studio environment. We are seeking people who are friendly, approachable and enthusiastic about helping our clients feel right at home. You will offer a wonderful guest experience before and after classes, assisting with questions and concerns while utilizing resourcefulness and business acumen to accomplish front desk duties.

Requirements

  • Boutique reception and Sales experience
  • Interest in Pilates or personal fitness
  • Passion for health and well-being
  • Excellent computer skills (experience with Canva, Microsoft 365, MindBody Online are a plus but not a requirement)
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the Mind Body Online database (checking in for classes, making cancellations, maintaining class and/or private appointment schedules, setting up user profiles, pulling attendance reports, adjusting/rescheduling/canceling trainer class schedules where appropriate, running client purchases, adjusting errors in client's accounts, etc).
  • Upselling and maintaining healthy business by discussing class/private packages and options.
  • Light reporting/marketing initiatives at owners' request.
  • Moderate studio maintenance, cleaning, and order of fitness rooms.
  • Keeping on top of studio supplies, paperwork on hand, paper schedules, etc.
  • Being present at desk to field phone calls and assist walk-ins.
  • Welcoming new clients into studio, providing tours and health profile forms.
  • Answering client questions about classes, trainers, Pilates, etc.
  • Being the face of Mighty and a welcoming first point of contact for clients!
