About The Position

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. You will manage reservations, assist guests with their needs, and contribute to the overall operations of the front desk. Zion Mountain Ranch is an elevated sanctuary just 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park, set on a roaming bison preserve. Guests can choose from thoughtfully crafted cabins and bespoke lodges and enjoy on‑site experiences including guided horseback riding, bison feedings, and Cordwood, a field‑to‑fork restaurant featuring ingredients from the ranch’s organic gardens. Dedicated to land preservation and meaningful, nature‑based travel, Zion Mountain Ranch blends purposeful hospitality with a deep respect for the land and the spirit of the American West. Team members play a vital role in creating experiences that strengthen guests’ connection to this landscape and its enduring story.

Requirements

  • Technical skills for entries of reservations and quality performance.
  • Establish successful working relationships with co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to get along well with people, be honest, punctual and reliable.

  • Ability to physically be out to make rounds throughout the resort.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software; experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Handle guest check-outs, process payments, and provide accurate billing information.
  • Manage reservations through the hotel management system, ensuring accuracy and availability.
  • Handle phone inquiries and assist guests with booking reservations, providing information about rates, availability, and lodge amenities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Offer local information, recommend activities, and assist guests with planning their stay.
  • Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any guest issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to guests and support lodge operations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
  • Prepare daily reports and assist with cash handling, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Understand and follow all ESQ procedures that relate to your job duties.
  • Work with a “safety-first” attitude.
  • Minimize your impact on the environment when at work and living onsite.
  • Treat our customers, co-workers, leadership teams, all internal guests with respect and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
  • All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
