About The Position

This is a full-time Guest Services Agent position. The role involves registering guests, securing payments, issuing keys, and managing guest folios. Responsibilities also include creating reservations, handling mail and messages, blocking rooms for arriving guests, and maintaining a bank. The agent will be expected to be knowledgeable about the property, its services, and events to answer guest questions. Additionally, the role may involve completing special assignments and other duties as assigned. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.

Requirements

  • Ability to register guests, secure payment, and issue keys.
  • Proficiency in checking out guests and settling folios.
  • Skill in creating reservations.
  • Ability to handle incoming mail and messages.
  • Capability to block and dispense rooms.
  • Experience in maintaining a bank according to policies.
  • Knowledge of property, services, and events to assist guests.
  • Willingness to complete special assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Registers guests, secures payment, issues keys and related materials per established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Checks out guests, settles all pay folios, and posts charges per established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Creates reservations based on established guidelines.
  • Issues room keys and relays instructions to Bell Person.
  • Dates, stamps, sorts and racks incoming mail and messages.
  • Blocks and dispenses rooms for arriving guests.
  • Maintains bank in accordance with established company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Is familiar with property, services, and events; answers questions and provides information as requested by guests.
  • Completes special assignments for Supervisor Hotel Operations and above as requested.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
