About The Position

This position is seasonal until Oct 15th. Our Guest Service & Shuttle Attendant is a key member of the Front Desk team, responsible for helping deliver a seamless guest experience. This role operates the resort shuttle vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter) between the hotel and Banff town, providing an essential connection for guests accessing town for their daily needs. You will support smooth arrivals and departures by assisting with luggage to and from guest rooms and on and off the shuttle, while also sharing local knowledge and assisting with guest requests and activity bookings. The role also supports internal operations by transporting mail and materials between properties.

Requirements

  • Class 4 driver's licence, or Class 5 with willingness to upgrade
  • Outgoing, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and support multiple departments

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver excellent guest service by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, professional manner
  • Assist guests with loading, unloading, and delivering luggage to and from guest rooms and on and off the shuttle
  • Support group arrivals and departures, including accurate luggage tagging, handling, and timely delivery
  • Operate the resort shuttle vehicle (Mercedes Sprinter) safely, comfortably, and on schedule, in compliance with all traffic regulations
  • Share local knowledge, including points of interest and community services, with guests
  • Assist guests with special needs and general requests
  • Receive and deliver items for hotel guests as required
  • Clean and maintain hotel entrances, reception areas, and car parks to ensure they are tidy and welcoming for guests
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to support guest and operational needs
  • Transport internal mail between the post office, Head Office, and other BCP businesses across town
  • Support additional operational duties as required
