Not only will you drive vehicles in a safe, professional and courteous manner, you will be the friendly face that gets our passengers safely to their where they need to go. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or three months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to assist with driving shuttles or transporting guests as needed.
  • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed all applicable AAA and Forbes standards set for the Shuttle Driver.
  • Smile and welcome guests with a positive attitude that supports the philosophy of The Broadmoor Hotel.
  • Inspects, cleans and reports any maintenance issues.
  • Provides transportation for guests and employees to and from designated locations.
  • Transports and delivers packages, luggage or other items to and from designated locations.
  • Conducts thorough pre-shift safety inspection of assigned vehicles.
  • Fills out required paperwork and forms.
  • Drives vehicles in a safe, professional and courteous manner.
  • Able to safely and correctly operate the wheelchair lift on the handicap-accessible buses
  • Conducts effective communication with other team members using radios and earpieces.
  • Drives off property when directed by GS Director, GS Supervisor or an Executive Member.
  • Assists passengers with luggage or packages, loading, and unloading.
  • Reports any accidents or damage to a vehicle to the Guest Services Supervisor and Loss Prevention.
  • Helps clean and maintain all work facilities.
  • Keeps vehicle fueled.
  • Performs minor maintenance or adjustments as required.
  • Ensure important information and details are passed along to the next shift.
  • Maintain confidentiality of any guest information.
  • Check out with supervisor at end of shift.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
