About The Position

You will be at the center of the hotel's universe-the front office. We need someone to be the face at our front desk. Are you happy, outgoing and wear a perma-smile? Do you want to create a warm and welcoming environment for our guests by sharing your knowledge of the area? Then this could be the job for you. In addition to generally spreading joy, you’ll be making sure all guests receive excellent service from check-in to check-out. A lot goes into creating a perfect hotel stay, and you’ll play a huge role in this. We are looking to you to OWN the front desk area.

Requirements

High School diploma (or equivalent)
Three to six months of related experience
Must be a people-person
Must interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times
Must fulfill requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner
Must not work well under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledgeable of the area
Excellent computer skills
Must enjoy conversing with a diverse public
Previous customer service experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Cash handling experience
Knowledgeable of computerized systems
Ability to work flexible hours
Strong leadership abilities
High energy driven individual that enjoys interacting with people

Responsibilities

Have excellent knowledge of the local happenings in restaurants, entertainment, and sporting events and share this information with guests.
