About The Position

Floridays Resort Orlando is seeking a friendly, courteous Guest Service Agent to create memorable guest experiences and provide exceptional service. The role involves checking guests in and out, responding to requests, handling reservations and payments, and coordinating with other hotel teams. Candidates must be open to working afternoon shifts. Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to meet service quality standards and respond to guests in a timely, professional manner.
• Courteous and professional demeanor and presentation when handling upset guests and difficult situations.
• Prior cash-handling and data-entry experience required.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
• Must be open to working afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Create positive guest and owner experiences while checking them in and out and responding to requests.
• Obtain or confirm guest information, assign rooms, activate and distribute keys, and collect payment for room charges and other fees.
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
• Check and send emails.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
• Inform guests about hotel amenities and offerings.
• Use the reservation system to determine unit availability and assist with reservations or changes.
• Communicate with housekeeping, room service, and security staff as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints and problems calmly and effectively.
• Report unresolved owner or guest problems to management.
• Maintain a friendly, personable disposition.
