This role combines traditional security duties with outstanding customer service and hospitality to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of guests and staff. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Florida Security License (Guard Card)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, approachable demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to be personable and deliver impeccable customer service with confidence, energy, and a positive attitude
  • Someone who prides themselves on integrity, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Maintains a professional and polished appearance appropriate for a guest-facing environment
  • Eager to ask questions, learn, and continuously improve
  • Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and access control
  • Knowledge of CPR, first aid, or de-escalation techniques
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances
  • At least one professional reference is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in night auditing, security, customer service, hospitality, military, or law enforcement is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, employees, and visitors warmly and confidently to create a welcoming environment
  • Monitor surveillance systems to ensure site safety
  • Conduct regular patrols and report any unusual or suspicious activity
  • Control access points and verify visitor credentials professionally
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, or incidents with composure
  • Enforce safety protocols and site-specific policies
  • Provide assistance and excellent customer service to guests and staff
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activity and incidents
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
