About The Position

The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments. This role involves cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, and observing all house and safety rules. The attendant will also complete additional deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year cleaning experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
