About The Position
The Guest Experience Host is responsible for delivering amazing customer service and maintaining exceptional first impressions for both prospective and existing guests. This position assists guests as they arrive at the park, including ticket sales, season pass processing, and turnstiles. Working at Story Land is about making people happy! As a Story Land host, you can be the smiling face that makes a great first impression for incoming guests, a cook that serves up tasty treats and culinary delights, a lifeguard who soaks up the sun while keeping guests safe, or a ride operator that keeps guests coming back for more thrills! Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with New Hampshire Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
Nice To Haves
- Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a fun and welcoming manner!
- Delight all guests by providing exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing their questions and concerns
- Run POS for guests to purchase tickets or season passes
- Process guests’ tickets and/or passes at the entrance gates
- Answer guest questions and/or escalate these questions and concerns to the appropriate Guest Experience Host
- Assist guests with entry, exit, and reentry to the park
- Ensure that the front gate area of the park remains clean and presentable to incoming guests.
- Promptly notify the security team or the operator of host and guest injuries or emergencies
- All other duties assigned by leadership
