The role involves supporting and delivering on all personalized activities of daily living that meet resident’s needs, including basic living support, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support. Guest Attendants are an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team who build trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication. They document the completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform throughout their shift and can quickly identify and communicate changes in resident care needs to clinical leads. Requirements

  • Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
  • Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
  • Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one
