Requirements
- Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
- Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
- Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one
Nice To Haves
- Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required
Responsibilities
- Support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living that meet our resident’s needs. This includes basic living support, personal hygiene, companionship and nutritional support.
- Build trusted relationships with our residents, families and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication.
- Document the completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform throughout their shift.
- Quickly identify and communicate changes in resident care needs to our clinical leads.
