About The Position

As a Seasonal Guest Advocate at Target, you help create a welcoming guest experience by focusing on guest interaction, service, and recovery. The role is part of Target’s seasonal Service & Engagement work, where advocates welcome and thank guests and exceed their service expectations.

The position offers experience with guest-service fundamentals and Target’s guest-first culture, as well as retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency, and supporting business priorities and sales goals. Training is provided. The work is active and team-oriented, and includes serving guests, handling register operations, and working with merchandise.

Requirements

• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to accurately handle cash register operations.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders.
• Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and regular attendance.
