About The Position

This is a seasonal role at Target, focusing on various aspects of store operations and guest experience. The position involves working in a fun and energetic environment, providing excellent guest service, and contributing to the core functions of stocking, setting, and selling Target products. The role offers training to help team members develop skills for a career in retail, including knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and executing daily/weekly workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
  • Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
  • Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
  • Handle cash register operations accurately.
  • Climb up and down ladders.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
