About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, focusing on various guest-facing and operational aspects of the store. The position involves creating a positive guest experience through active selling, visual merchandising, and efficient operations. Team members will gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business operations including sales trends and inventory management, and experience in executing daily workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals. The role is dynamic and energetic, requiring teamwork and a focus on guest satisfaction. It is not a typical Monday-through-Friday desk job, as the role is busy throughout the week, especially on weekends, to ensure guests feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Inspire guests and build the basket.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
