About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). The starting hourly rate is $16.25 USD per hour. Target aims to help families discover the joy of everyday life through its values and culture. Seasonal roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience in executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals. The work environment is fun and energetic, with a focus on guest interaction and providing excellent service. Roles involve stocking, setting, and selling Target products, and the job is not a typical Monday-through-Friday desk job, as the business is busy, especially on weekends.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
