About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target involve helping families discover the joy of everyday life. These positions focus on sales and guest experience, aiming to inspire guests and build sales through active selling, compelling visual merchandising, and excellent guest service. Team members gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (including department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals. The roles are dynamic and energetic, requiring teamwork and a focus on guest satisfaction, rather than a typical Monday-through-Friday desk job.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
