About The Position
Seasonal roles at Target involve helping families discover the joy of everyday life. These roles can provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience in retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency, and improvement), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals. The job involves working in a fun and energetic environment, providing excellent guest service, stocking, setting, and selling Target products. The roles are not strictly Monday-Friday, computer-based jobs, as the environment is busy throughout the day, especially on weekends, to ensure guests feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded.
Requirements

- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
