About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, with various positions available including Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). Working at Target involves helping families discover the joy of everyday life through its values and culture. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles focus on providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles are advocates of guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. These roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
