About The Position
This is a seasonal role at Target, focusing on various store operations including Guest Advocacy (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Front of Store Attendant (Cart Attendant), Style, Tech, and Inbound (Stocking). The role involves creating a joyful everyday life for families through Target's values and culture. Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles focus on active selling and visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest experience and interaction. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles focus on efficient operations, ensuring products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Target aims to provide meaningful experiences that help team members build skills for a career, offering knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to meet business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements

- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
