About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a bilingual security officer in Puerto Rico to provide security services, including access control and patrols. The role may serve a variety of industries and customer sites. Work schedules rotate and are full-time. The position pays $11.50 per hour and requires fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English, a valid Puerto Rico driver's license, and customer-service skills. Applicants must be at least 21 for unarmed roles and meet the stated education or experience requirement. Employment is contingent on background screening and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under local law. The role also requires availability for credentialing processes and training.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Availability for rotating schedules and weekly itineraries.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English; English is required for bilingual positions.
• Valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
• Customer-service skills.
• Availability for credentialing processes and training.
• Applicants are subject to background screening as a condition of employment.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment according to applicable state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security and safety procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency-response activities when applicable.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Receive and direct employees and/or visitors in reception areas according to establishment rules and assigned post orders.
