About The Position

Hover helps people design, improve, and protect the properties they love. With proprietary AI built on over a decade of real property data, Hover answers age-old questions like “What will it look like?” and “What will it cost?” Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals rely on Hover to get fully measured, accurate, and interactive 3D models of any property — all from a smartphone scan in minutes. At Hover, we’re driven by curiosity, purpose, and a shared commitment to serving our customers, communities, and each other. We believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives and are proud to cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture that inspires growth, accountability, and excellence. Backed by leading investors like Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and trusted by industry leaders including Travelers, State Farm, and Nationwide — we’re redefining how people understand and interact with their spaces. Why Hover wants you Hover's GTM Systems team owns the full technical stack powering how our Sales, Marketing, and CX organizations operate — and we're growing it. This is a net new role for a senior engineer who wants breadth and ownership in equal measure: someone who can move fluidly across our GTM ecosystem, identify where automation and AI create the most leverage, and build systems that let our revenue teams scale without scaling headcount in parallel. You'll sit within a small, senior GTM Systems team and partner closely with RevOps, Sales, Marketing, CX and Engineering. The work spans integrations, data pipelines, and AI-powered automation — with the expectation that you'll bring architectural instincts, a bias toward building things right, and genuine excitement about what's possible at the intersection of AI and GTM.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of integration and automation experience: You've built and maintained integrations across complex SaaS ecosystems and are comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and working alongside engineering teams
  • Data fluency: You understand how data moves between systems, can write SQL with confidence, and have experience working with or adjacent to modern data platforms like Snowflake.
  • Broad GTM tooling familiarity: You've worked across some combination of Sales, Marketing, and CX tooling — you don't need to be an expert in every platform, but you know how to ramp quickly and build with good architectural instincts.
  • You’ve either built AI-assisted operational workflows directly, or have strong systems engineering fundamentals and genuine excitement to work deeply in this space
  • Systems thinking: You design for scalability and maintainability, and you know how to balance moving fast with building things that last.
  • Clear communicator: You can translate technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders and work fluidly across functional teams.
  • Proactive ownership: You spot problems, propose solutions, and drive them to resolution — without needing to be asked twice.
  • Scripting and development fluency: You can write scripts or build lightweight services in one or more languages (Python, Ruby, Java, or similar) and are comfortable working with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
  • Experience with Salesforce at the admin or configuration level.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build reliable integrations across our GTM stack — connecting tools like Salesforce, Slack, Braze, Intercom, and Clay to keep data clean and workflows running.
  • Identify and eliminate manual work across GTM teams by designing automation that scales — building systems that let our Sales, Marketing, and CX teams operate faster and scale efficiently while improving the experience for both customers and internal teams.
  • Contribute to AI-powered GTM initiatives, embedding LLM-based tooling and intelligent automation into workflows to surface insights and unlock net-new capabilities for revenue teams.
  • Own data pipeline health across the GTM ecosystem — proactively monitoring syncs, resolving failures, and ensuring the data our teams depend on is accurate and timely.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps, Marketing, Sales, CX, and Engineering to understand business priorities and translate them into scalable, maintainable system designs.
  • Document systems, processes, and architectural decisions as a first-class output — building the institutional knowledge that lets the team scale.
  • Design and implement human-in-the-loop workflows that balance AI automation with operational quality, escalation management, and customer trust.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
  • Generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
  • A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
  • Recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
  • We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
