GTM Operations Lead

Nexus OneAtlanta, GA

About The Position

Nexus is building its go-to-market (GTM) strategy from the ground up and is seeking a GTM Operations Lead to create operating leverage across the entire GTM motion. This role will be hands-on where needed and focused on tracking where necessary, ensuring the CEO is not involved in every deal and decision. Currently, the CEO acts as the head of sales, with the CEO, Chief Architect, and Business Operations team supporting live deals. As the company prepares to hire Account Executives and Solution Architects, launch a channel investment, and scale demand generation, this role will be crucial in holding the GTM operations together until a Head of Sales is hired. Ultimately, this individual will build the Sales Ops/RevOps function that a future Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will inherit. The position does not involve carrying a quota or selling. The ideal candidate will have a consulting background with strong structure, judgment, and polish, combined with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in top-tier management consulting (MBB or strong tier-2), ideally commercial-excellence focused.
  • Real operating time inside enterprise B2B software GTM, not just advising from outside.
  • Fluency in enterprise, sales-led software motion (pipeline, forecast, quota, comp, territory).
  • Comfortable across the full GTM surface: sales, marketing, pricing, analyst relations.
  • Willing to do the work directly: drafting SOWs, shaping MSAs, writing content, building collateral.
  • Builds systems and automations (including AI-assisted workflows), not just dashboards.
  • High agency, strong writing/deck judgment, and influence without authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience partnering with a seller team (4–6 reps) on quota attainment.
  • Built sales enablement end-to-end, or a deal-desk motion.
  • Worked directly with an exec at an early-stage company.
  • Shaped a comp plan, pricing model, territory design, or forecast leadership relied on.
  • A public artifact showing builder chops (tool, repo, teardown, talk).

Responsibilities

  • Revenue cadence & forecasting: build forecasting from scratch, own forecast integrity, run pipeline reviews and the operating cadence.
  • Pursuit enablement & deal execution: manage SOWs, MSAs, pricing exhibits, deal collateral, and build the deal-desk motion.
  • Scaling sellers & Solution Architects: develop onboarding, ramp, and enablement materials for new hires.
  • Demand gen, product marketing & analyst relations: support campaigns, the BDR motion, thought-leadership content, and analyst engagement.
  • Channel & field marketing: mobilize a multi-month channel investment as a scaled-motion lever.
  • Pricing, packaging & competitive strategy: SKU design, packaging tests, and live competitive analysis.

Benefits

  • Collaborative team culture built on curiosity and respect
  • Challenging work where your contributions clearly matter
  • Leadership team that invests in learning and development
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud, data, and AI innovation
