This is a role for someone who wants to own something real, not just execute on someone else's vision. At Carbmee, we're building the environmental intelligence platform that the world's largest industrial companies use to measure, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions. We work with companies like Maersk, Lufthansa, and Zeiss. And we're growing fast! As GTM Founder's Associate, you'll own how we identify, source, and win the enterprise accounts that matter most, working directly with the CEO to turn a market thesis into real pipeline. You'll have real responsibility from day one, and what you build here will actually matter. Requirements

  • 1-3 years in venture capital, private equity, or top-tier consulting, with real exposure to how deals get sourced and evaluated
  • Degree from a top university, you've been trained to think rigorously about complex problems
  • A deal hunter mentality: you go find the opportunity, you don't wait for it to land in your inbox
  • Comfortable navigating complex, technical sales targets (not transactional SMB deals)
  • Entrepreneurial, take initiative, drive things end-to-end without needing a playbook
  • Resilient, this market requires patience and persistence
  • Take full ownership: you see something that needs fixing and you fix it. You're humble and direct.
  • German on native speaker level & fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Build and pressure-test a thesis on which accounts, sectors, and buying triggers matter most in industrial and manufacturing markets
  • Source and qualify target companies with speed and judgment, knowing what's worth pursuing and what isn't
  • Run discovery conversations that turn technical and regulatory complexity into a clear opportunity case
  • Work directly with the CEO and leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategy
  • Hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives and support deal progression
  • Represent Carbmee at industry events and conferences
  • Track KPIs: lead-to-opportunity conversion, outreach volume, revenue contribution
  • Own the numbers behind GTM performance and report on what's working
